Hi, I’m Manon, a Canadian artist based in Ottawa, Ontario.
I spent over 30 years working as a graphic designer and web communications advisor, with creativity and visual storytelling at the heart of my career. Throughout my life, I also dabbled in art, exploring different materials and techniques whenever I had the opportunity.
In May 2024, during my recovery from burnout, I began creating art every day. What started as a way to slow down and reconnect with myself gradually became something much more meaningful. Art gave me the freedom to experiment, follow my curiosity, and enjoy the creative process without needing every piece to have a purpose.
Today, I love exploring colour, texture, and abstract forms through watercolour, mixed media, and other techniques. I’m inspired by nature, underwater worlds, whimsical animals, and the little details that make the world interesting. My work ranges from miniature paintings to abstract landscapes and textured pieces, reflecting my ongoing journey of discovery.
For me, art is about more than the finished piece. It’s about making space for creativity, embracing experimentation, and finding joy in the process. I hope my work brings a little colour, curiosity, and happiness into your home.
Thank you for visiting and being part of my creative journey.
